    Our Story

Structuring a better way. Flowing with new ideas.

Our first chapter together begins when four regional consultant leaders joined forces. Since then, we’ve welcomed several other firms who have expanded our geographic footprint and service offerings, transforming Consor into a recognized name providing water and transportation infrastructure consulting. By pairing in-house, industry-leading expertise and authentic local relationships, we achieve a melding-of-the-minds approach to crafting customized solutions.

    Our Solutions

Modernizing water and transportation systems through end-to-end services.

    Welcome to Consor

With 1,800 professionals across the United States and Canada, Consor pairs trusted local relationships with a connected platform of technical expertise built for scale. Our integrated model enables consistent, high-performing delivery for public agencies, utilities, and private clients modernizing critical infrastructure systems. Our collaboration across regions and services strengthens knowledge exchange, expands opportunity for our people, and delivers lasting outcomes for the communities those systems serve.

    Oregon

We take care of our communities.

    Oregon

Our teammates collaborated on a “Soup-er Mario!” sculpture for CANstruction, an international charity that hosts competitions with canned food that are donated to local food banks! Their 10 x 10-foot sculpture was made of 4,181 cans of food—each chosen based on label color to help set the scene.

    Utah

    We support the next generation.

    Utah

For more than five years, our Utah teammates have partnered with For The Kids to support their mission to provide food to children in need over school breaks when they lack access to elementary school breakfast and lunch programs. Ahead of spring break this year, they transported and delivered 780 bags of food, each of which provides a nine-day supply of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!

    Texas

    We provide STEM outreach.

    Texas

Our teammates demonstrated the water collection and distribution system to students at El Paso Water’s Tech H2O Learning Center. This event is designed to inspire an understanding of and appreciation for total water management in the Chihuahuan Desert. Using a handmade working model, Consor team members showed how we collect, clean, store, and distribute water to our community, and then how it’s cycled back into the environment for reuse.

    South Carolina

    We clean up our ecosystems.

    South Carolina

Working toward our purpose of inspiring vibrant communities, Consor’s South Carolina dive team volunteered their unique skills to clean-up a portion of the Reedy River. We successfully hauled away 60 yards of debris, including seven tires, a cassette tape, a Frisbee, and a rubber duck from the City of Greenville’s hometown river.

    Texas

We help our furry community members.

    Texas

Our Houston team volunteered at Citizens for Animal Protection, a nonprofit animal shelter. They helped with routine tasks like newspaper sorting for cage lining, dog walks, and lots of play time. This work was in preparation for a fee-waived adoption event that allowed many of their furry, four-legged community members to find their forever homes.

    Good Business Practices

    Invest in Our Communities

Our efforts to cultivate thriving communities start with our people. We mobilize our team members to participate in group volunteer activities by providing paid volunteer time off. From internal matching campaigns to payroll donation deduction opportunities, we make philanthropic investments in nonprofit organizations that align with our mission as a water and transportation infrastructure firm.

    Enhance Our Culture

Better solutions are created when we bring together talented individuals across the spectrum of identities and experiences. By facilitating employee-led affinity groups and social activities, we foster connection and well-being. We also cultivate career growth by providing on-demand learning opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and paid professional memberships so our teammates can expand their potential.

    Operate with Integrity

Beyond providing sustainable and long-lasting infrastructure, we recognize our most immediate and effective impact comes from day-to-day operations. We strive to enhance the lives of our teammates, partners, and community members by working with integrity—from the supplies we use and the way we commute, to how we structure our company and instill a culture of safety.

    What Our Clients are Saying

Consor has done a great job performing bridge inspections and developing official underwater inspection procedures. Although the contract execution was delayed, Consor began working immediately to ensure DOT met all FHWA mandated deadlines. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate an ever changing schedule is making this project progress very smoothly. We appreciate them partnering with us on this project to make it successful.”
I remain impressed with Consor’s proactive approach and level of service. I have never had to ask twice for anything. The firm delivers as promised and I welcome the opportunity to work with them again."
Consor’s commitment to the US 301 sidewalk project was evident from the start, and they continue to provide the same level of service on the US 41 resurfacing project. Consor has held two projects in which I managed, and in both instances, the entire staff has produced high-quality work. My confidence was tested when the US 301 project schedule was accelerated, and major issues were realized at that critical time. Consor well exceeded my expectations by addressing all of the project issues and met a very aggressive project schedule."
As the project manager for the City, I have been very fortunate to work with multiple staff from Consor, on several occasions over the past several years, and the results have always been positive, responsive and professional."
