Vine Trail, St. Helena to Calistoga
To expand active transportation options and connect key communities in Napa County, Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) advanced a federally funded effort to extend the Vine Trail. This project constructed 7 miles of new bike path along State Route 29 between St. Helena and Calistoga—an area known for its rural character, wineries, and tourism.
Consor provided full construction management and inspection services, including change order oversight, RFIs and submittals, schedule reviews, and federally compliant contract administration. Coordination with PG&E, Bothe State Park, Cal Fire, adjacent wineries, and the Cities of St. Helena and Calistoga was essential to progress. Improvements included drainage, paving, retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, and site furnishings designed to support safety and accessibility.
