Tualatin Moving Forward Program
The City of Tualatin has transformed local transportation through the Tualatin Moving Forward Program, delivering 36 projects over five years. Consor supported the program with program management, planning, public involvement, design, and construction management services, helping the initiative stay on time and within budget.
Backed by a community-supported bond measure, the program addressed key challenges by enhancing multimodal safety with new crosswalks, sidewalks, and bike lanes while improving traffic flow and reducing congestion at critical intersections. Environmental stewardship was a cornerstone of the initiative, integrating stormwater management and preserving mature trees to minimize ecological impacts. Community input from an extensive public engagement effort guided priorities to see that projects reflected local needs. This project won the APWA Oregon Project of the Year Award in the $25-$75M category, the League of Oregon Cities Good Governance Award, and the ACEC Engineering Leadership Award.
