State and Local Underwater Bridge Inspection
ITD Districts 3, 4, and 6
Consor performed underwater bridge inspections of 17 state bridges and nine local agency bridges in Idaho. All inspections were performed
by ADCI-certified divers and were conducted with an NBIS-qualified team leader who is an Idaho-licensed Professional Engineer. The bridge structures were in ITD’s Districts 3, 4, and 6. Detailed inspection reports were generated that included element-level inspection notes and condition ratings, condition plans, water depth soundings, channel elevation profiles, photographs, ultrasonic thickness measurements on steel elements, and data entry into BrM. Reports for 11 high-risk bridges were submitted within 30 days of inspection.
